Domex is actively hiring qualified Electrical Engineers/Technicians to join our Domestic Appliance Repair team in the United Kingdom.

Ready to launch your engineering career in the UK? Experience as a Field Service Engineer is not essential – just a passion for fault finding and hands-on repair, as well as, of course, a commitment to relocating to the UK and building a career as an Appliance Engineer.

What We’re Looking For:

• A comprehensive understanding of electrical theory, acquired through a combination of education and work experience.
• Hands-On Expertise: You’re comfortable working with tools and enjoy tackling hands-on tasks; your experience may be as an electrician, technician, service or maintenance engineer.
• Higher technical qualification, e.g., Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Electricals.
• Problem-Solving Enthusiast: You get a thrill from diagnosing faults and fixing technical issues.
• Customer Focus: You know how to communicate effectively with customers, ensuring they feel valued and confident in your work.
• Driving: A valid manual driving licence is required to travel between customer homes.
• A strong commitment to relocating to Greater London on a 3 year skilled worker visa and building a rewarding career as an Appliance Engineer.

The Field Service Engineer role:

• Diagnostics and repairs: Perform diagnostics and servicing repairs on kitchen appliances e.g washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, in customers’ homes.
• Visiting customers in their private home, within a Greater London postcode area surrounding your base home location.
• Efficient job management: A user-friendly mobile app to manage your day, including parts intake, returns, tech info and job completion.
